One of the basic characteristics of developing and dynamic societies is the thriving presence of non-governmental scientific and cultural institutions and organizations in the field of scientific activities, institutions that can identify all the scientific and cultural capacities in the society alongside the government and with the direct and indirect assistance of the government. And improve and manage their use in order to solve the desired problems.

At present, the scientific associations and centers of the world, which are most of the Internet elites, have been able to become centers for finding new problems and designing new solutions by proposing new issues and beyond academic discussions. On the other hand, scientific associations, due to having a wide range of members and extensive scientific communication through activities such as holding conferences, scientific seminars, publishing publications, providing training workshops and launching informative websites, bring scientific perspectives closer and influence the formulation of scientific policy. Countries have played a significant role.

Since there is less bureaucracy in these associations and the activities are carried out on a non-profit basis, they are to some extent immune from common damage in complex administrative structures, and this is considered a strong point in the effective functioning of scientific associations, including the Iranian Society of Cryptology. can be We are in the final years of the first decade of activities of Iranian Society of Cryptology, a scientific association which, after obtaining an official license from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, with the aim of expanding the science and technology of cryptography and the security of the information exchange space, and helping to develop the quality and quantity of experts and It works to improve educational and research affairs in the relevant fields. In the past 10 years, the Iranian Society of Cryptology has been able to take effective steps to meet the country's needs in this field in the scientific, educational and research fields related to the goals of its constitution and to the best of its ability, by providing solutions and proposed programs in the field of information exchange security. In addition to that, it also provides various services to its members and the general public interested in the issues of the association's work.

In this article, an attempt has been made to summarize the most important activities of the association during the past years and bring it to the knowledge of all the respected members of the Iranian Society of Cryptology, especially the honorable members present at the annual general meeting of the association dated 6/24/89.
